Choir Director Endowment

Having Light, We Pass It On To Others is our motto, a tradition, a calling. The Wittenberg University Choir instills this calling in students and the community alike, celebrating both our Lutheran heritage and the university’s vast musical traditions.

With Wittenberg’s rich history and longstanding alumni ties, we ask a lot of the choral director – to be an inspiring teacher, a talented musician and a tireless representative of the university. That is why, as we #Commit2Witt, we seek to re-energize the effort to fully fund an Endowed Choir Director position at Witt. This endowed position will bring added prestige to this role, while also providing stability to the core program of Wittenberg’s historic Department of Music for generations to come.

Thanks to the generosity of 1969 alumni Alan and Pamela Stewart, we have two great challenges totaling $10,000 to help make this day successful!
