Why It Matters

At Wittenberg, we believe that every person matters. Our hope is to continue to build a campus climate that empowers and supports people while lifting up a community where all are welcomed, valued, and affirmed.


How We Can Make a Difference

  • Give to the Student Emergency Fund and help provide resources for students facing unexpected, time-sensitive situations. 
  • The fraternity and sorority community at Wittenberg aims to develop leaders who are dedicated to lifelong membership and community involvement through our commitment to academic excellence, positive relationships, and civic engagement, as well as diversity and inclusion. Support programming initiatives for all fraternity and sorority organizations currently active at Wittenberg through a gift to the Greek Life Fund.

This is a time to lean on our Lutheran heritage and our human compassion to support our community together. Gifts that Wittenberg can use today - in support of the students in our community who need it most - have a palpable and immediate impact.

Where's Ezry Challenge
Where's Ezry the Tiger? Cheryl '78 and Howard Petty are challenging Wittenberg students to find Ezry the Tiger during Commit to Witt! When students find a stress Ezry or a plush Ezry on campus they will unlock a portion of this new and exciting competitive $4,000 challenge! This challenge benefits The Wittenberg Fund. The winner will snap a picture and tag Wittenberg University on Instagram or X and share where they found Ezry. The victor keeps Ezry and is entered to win a prize from a local business.
