What is Commit to Witt?
Commit to Witt is Wittenberg University's annual day to pass our light and give back to this institution. Our goal each year is for the Wittenberg community to come together in order to make an immediate impact on current and future Tigers.
Can anyone participate in Commit to Witt?
Absolutely. Support from the entire Wittenberg community and beyond is what makes our University a remarkable place!
What is an Ambassador?
Ambassadors are Wittenberg's peer leaders who share messages and create excitement about Commit To Witt before and during the day. With an investment of a few minutes, Ambassadors help spread awareness—asking their network to participate in Commit To Witt using their preferred forms of communication: social media, email, text, and phone.
I'm having trouble making my gift and/or I haven't received my gift confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have issues with the payment process, and/or if you haven't received your confirmation email and tax receipt, please email wittfund@wittenberg.edu for assistance.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent under IRS guidelines. You may deduct the amount you contributed, less the fair market value of any goods or services you received.
Are employer matching gifts accepted?
Yes! Matching gifts from the company or organization you work for double the impact of your gift. Let us know it's on the way by calling us at 937-327-7430 or emailing us at wittfund@wittenberg.edu and we can count it toward our day!
Can my donation be anonymous?
Yes, you can make your gift anonymously by simply selecting the box on the giving form.
Can I give through my Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or IRA?
Yes! Contact your financial institution or click here to recommend your DAF or IRA distribution gift to Wittenberg University. Let us know it's on the way by calling us at 937-327-7430 or emailing us at wittfund@wittenberg.edu and we can count it toward our day!
What if I prefer to mail a check?
That's okay! You can send a check (specifying the fund you would like to support in the memo line) to:

I have placed Wittenberg in my estate plans. Can that count toward Commit to Witt?
We do not count estate gifts in our totals during Commit to Witt, but documenting your legacy intentions with our office is extremely important to us!
